Best Practices – Concealed Carry Expectations Verses reality

Not to pick on overweight gun owners (I fit into that category myself!) but I cringe when I see someone carrying an Inside-The-Waistband (IWB) holster with their tummy hanging over the top of the gun, It’s a personal choice, but it can cause problems. 1. If you try to draw your gun, and have to move your belly out of the way first, then that’s an obvious issue. It can slow you down and potentially cause a negligent discharge. 2. The most likely problem woudl be sweat and moisture getting into your gun and fouling the mechanisms. Wear the right holster for your body type.
