Bad Holster of the Day: November 26, 2017

Bad Holster of the Day:

ALWAYS – every day – every time you put on a holster and put a gun in it, check the holster for fit, retention and functionality. It doesn’t matter what brand, or what it’s made of, it should be checked EVERY time.

This officer is either wearing a paddle holster or another type that has an adjustable cant. The screws holding the holster in place came loose, and let the top heavy firearm turn the holster upside down. This could be deadly in an emergency or cause a possible accidental discharge. Fortunately in this case there was a thumb break holding the firearm in place.
